“A fantastic, local pasta-and-wine restaurant” (the clue is in the name) on Bermondsey high street, which makes an excellent cheap ’n’ cheerful choice. The pasta dishes themselves are “simple”, but their realisation is “a cut-above most other pasta restaurants” and when it comes to the vino, there are 25 options by the glass (all Italian).
Limited but enthusiastic feedback on this casual spot in Bermondsey (once known as Antico) where the focus is on fresh, handmade pasta and a selection of Italian wines. They also run the gin bar downstairs (‘214 Bermondsey’).
“Makes up for the sad demise of Zucca (RIP)”! A “great neighbourhood Italian spot” in Bermondsey, with “consistent food” and “particularly good risottos”. It’s “family-friendly” too, if “rather noisy” when lunch is in full flow.
