Harden's says

From the folks behind Sager + Wilde in Hackney and Bethnal Green, a new pizza place offering sourdough bases, wine, cocktails and (in their own words) “mind-blowing coffee”.

“A reliable spot for light Italian-style lunch or dinner” near Silicon Roundabout, with a strong drinks list courtesy of its co-founders: sommelier Michael Sager of Sager + Wilde and mixologist Marcis Dzelzainis. “The pizza dough is some of the best and the toppings are very different from your usual Italian”, the pasta is home-made, and the grills are “just as good”.

With its chic take on simple Italian food, this three-year-old near Silicon Roundabout, where Clerkenwell meets Shoreditch, “has become a favourite pizzeria” in the area – “although their other food is just as good”, including home-made pasta. “The Saturday afternoon special with pizza and cocktails is very good value”.

“Chic-looking, but down-to-earth, east London joint” from the folks behind Sager + Wilde, which has opened near Silicon Roundabout on the Clerkenwell/Shoreditch borders. A comprehensive wine list, and “some good coffee” create much of its appeal, and there’s also an “unpretentious and not ridiculously overpriced” array of pizzas and “interesting” small plates.

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
