Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
“Breathtaking views over the River Mersey, the Royal Liver building plus many other landmarks” ensure that this 34th-floor operation is “perfect for a special occasion”, and – though prices are not bargain basement – the venue was consistently well-rated this year for its “nothing-is-too-much-trouble” service and dependable cuisine. Afternoon tea here is another option and “always superb”.
“Obviously the views are an important part of the overall experience” at this 34th-floor venue, but the food gains respectable feedback too; service has been up-and-down in the past, but more than one reporter now finds it “superb”. Top Tip – afternoon tea here has a “certain sense of occasion”.
No doubting the “terrific views” on offer at this “fabulous” 34th-floor dining room; the food, by comparison, can feel like a “great disappointment”, and service – previously a strength – has been somewhat up and down of late too.
