“Fabulous South Indian food” including “dosas to die for” has long since earned respect for this family-run outfit – an early ambassador of Keralan cuisine in England – as possibly the best Indian restaurant in Leicester.
“Not your ordinary curry” – a “brilliant” Keralan venue “reflecting the origins of the family who own it”; compared to your standard Bangladeshi, the food is “less oily and makes more use of vegetables and coconut”.
A “great” and “charming” spot, near the railway station, where the Keralan cuisine makes a “welcome change from the standard Bangladeshi fare”; “there is a lot of good choice in Leicester for Indian food but Kayal is head and shoulders above the rest”.
“Still the best curry in Leicester” – “you experience the lovely tastes of Keralan cooking in this busy restaurant”, near the railway station, which on all accounts is “superb” and “great value for money”.
