“Still a pub at heart despite the rather upscale menu” – this “easy-going” spot (run by sons of the acclaimed Otter brewery) at the bottom of the main street is “well worth searching out” for its “well-priced and interesting British tapas”.
“Consistent, genuine and sometimes inventive cooking of local ingredients” is the order of the day at this “convivial” pub, owned by the Otter Brewery; as well as substantial meals, British ‘tapas’ is served at the bar.
A “very consistent” boozer owned by Otter Brewery; with its “innovative and frequently changing menu”, it “cleverly combines being a real pub with gastropub food”.
Run by a local brewery, this is a pub fans praise not only for its “imaginative menu” but also for offering “the best beer in England”; when it’s busy, though, it can get “far too noisy”.
