Just a stone’s throw from Muirfield golf course, and a 30-minute drive from Edinburgh, the hotel features 12 bedrooms, a bar and 60-cover dining room serving locally sourced produce.

Most reviews say its modern gastropub fare is as outstanding as its pedigree would suggest, but there’s also a minority for whom it’s “disappointing given TK’s reputation and very overpriced for rather average pub food”.
