Harden's survey result
A reliable and “quirky”, many-chambered fixture occupying a former storeroom on a touristy street in the Old Town, whose essentially classic Scottish cuisine is consistently well rated.
“Still a favourite” – a “welcoming and relaxed” warehouse, in the Old Town, whose traditional menu hasn’t varied much over the years, and whose “service can be a bit hit and miss”, but which remains an “excellent” destination for “authentic Scottish cooking”.
Grain Store Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Food still very good, although portion sizes seem to have decreased. Service fine but seemed a little inexperienced. Still a lovely experience though"
