A reliable and “quirky”, many-chambered fixture occupying a former storeroom on a touristy street in the Old Town, whose essentially classic Scottish cuisine is consistently well rated.
“Still a favourite” – a “welcoming and relaxed” warehouse, in the Old Town, whose traditional menu hasn’t varied much over the years, and whose “service can be a bit hit and miss”, but which remains an “excellent” destination for “authentic Scottish cooking”.
The ambience at this “lovely” and “always buzzing” warehouse in the Old Town is “hard to beat” – and, being “matched by very well-executed food”, it's “well recommended as a good all-round package” in the city, particularly for a “romantic” occasion.
