Harden's says
Formerly Le Mazot, the 'other' restaurant at Whatley Manor is now Grey's Brasserie, following a January 2017 refurb, menu shake-up and the recruitment of Niall Keating as executive chef.

Summary
The more informal dining option at this luxe Cotswolds country-house hotel, with an elegant grey colour scheme and a garden for summer months – the British-slanted menu offers “tasty food” in “good portions”, drawing on fresh produce from the kitchen garden.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Grey's Brasserie, Whatley Manor Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Perfectly nice, but I expected more. Wine list was extortonate. The sticky fried beef was amazing.....as was the bread with whipped butter...but little touches like the bread arriving at the same time as the started rather than in the void while we waited fell a bit short of expectation. "
"Sunday Jazz lunch. Good, but certainly not exceptional, traditional roast lunch. Overall enjoyable. Lovely surroundings. The hotel is a haven of tranquility set in glorious Cotswold countryside with beautiful gardens. You would not be expecting low costs but some of the wine list bloated prices are ridiculous."
