“Excellent views” are a highlight at this beachside unit, with outside tables for good weather: part of a modern development created in a spirit of regeneration by the local council. All reports applaud the “great meals” to be had here, but don’t go expecting the culinary pyrotechnics Bryn W is known for: it serves relatively simple fare (daily catch fish fingers, steak, risotto…)

“Fish is the thing at Bryn Williams’s contemporary, casual cafe on the shore at Rhos on Sea” in a landmark development central to the new promenade, and with “amazing views”. Overall there’s “nothing revolutionary or over-luxurious here, but rather bistro comfort and good cooking”.

For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

The motorway service station like location ...
Reviewed 3 months, 12 days ago

"The motorway service station like location and entrance does not help create an atmosphere for a gastronomic evening. The fish dishes were fine but not exciting, the vegetarian dishes were much better received. Not a path on London based Admiralty restaurant, but clearly popular. "
