"We ate on the 4th day of opening, and expected some minor teething troubles- but there were none. The menu is different from the other Elite Bistros, and features an "On Toast" section which proved to be both innovative (EG: pickled radish on mackerel pate) and very flavour-and-texture rich. The prices are surprisingly low for the quality. The place itself is divided into three areas each with their own atmosphere, but all very pleasant. the staff were cheerful, helpful and friendly, and we noticed Mr Usher himself helping two elderly people into the restaurant. We could not find fault anywhere, and our only concern is that it becomes so popular that we may not be able to get a table when we want one!"
