Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
“Somehow they have managed to create a terrific atmosphere in an ordinary shopfront” at this “small, lively tapas bar” (and former pop-up) on Cotham Hill; on the food front, they “don’t content themselves with blind imitation”, resulting in “rustic” and “interesting” dishes, best chased with one of their “amazing gins”.
“A total gem!”; all the essentials of a cosy, fun meal are to be had at this former pop-up – now a buzzy Cotham Hill bar: “authentic” dishes (the “closest to real tapas we have had in the UK, said our Spanish friend”), a “great gin menu and a perfect vibe”.
“Bravas has found its feet” in its new post pop-up form, and serves “wondrous” tapas – “more adventurous than the usual staples” with many “new twists on old-favourite dishes”. It occupies a “cosy” and “fun” space, which “does an excellent job of making you think you are actually in Spain” (quite a coup in Cotham Hill!)
