Harden's says
It's a busy time for Kochhar, who also opened Masalchi in Wembley in October 2021. There's another Riwaz (which means 'tradition') planned for Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Harden's survey result
Summary
Big-hitting London chef Atul Kochhar (of Mafair’s Kanishka) opened this “excellent” new venue in Beaconsfield’s old town last year, to general agreement that “staff are attentive and the food is wonderful”, full of “clean and light flavours”. On the debit side, “the music is way too loud” for some tastes, while “prices that are acceptable when restaurateurs are paying West End rents might just seem too much in this setting”.
For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
