Summary

“A stupendous backdrop”“there are stunning views from the Isle of Wight to the Purbecks” both from the superb terrance and the interior – is matched by “amazing seafood” (“straightforward” but “staggering”) at Pierre Chevillard’s stalwart restaurant with rooms, where “you are made to feel very welcome”. “What better place for lunch on a summer’s day?”

Summary

With a “great location on the clifftop”, this “rather sophisticated” venue offers “first-rate” (if rather “pricey”) seafood dishes by chef Pierre Chevillard; it’s especially nice when you can “sit outside, overlooking the Solent”.

"We were (unusually) slightly disappointed with the meal we had at Pebble Beach last year but we went again this year to a Lobster and strawberry event and were delighted in every way. In our view, the restaurant has entirely regained its previous standards!"

"This is the first time we have eaten here for a while but whilst service was still first rate and whilst most items remained good, we felt that neither the twice baked cheese soufle nor the lobster thermador was up to the usual standard."
