On the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, this “stunning, remote restaurant with rooms is set in a 13th century castle overlooking the Atlantic” (complete with battlements); restored to its former glory in 2016, it reopened in 2021. You could be forgiven for anticipating anticlimactic results in the dining room, but (on admittedly thin feedback) there is nothing but praise for the “warm service and great food”.
