Richard Phillips’ pub and fine dining hybrid is an “atmospheric” spot with “superb views over the beach” and Thames Estuary from the upstairs restaurant. The kitchen turns out “excellent oysters and good fish generally” but, the lion’s share of praise singles out the “superb value set lunch”.
