Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
“For a restaurant this far inland”, Adam Fellows’s “quirky”, intimate modern European turns out some “truly amazing” fish, and “friendly staff make the experience even better”; sample praise – “you could be in any simple brasserie in a French town”.
There’s some “excellent cooking” (not least fish) to be had, if from a “limited menu”, at Adam Fellows’s diminutive modern European restaurant, near the cathedral.
An “excellent fine dining experience” is to be had at Adam Fellows’s “small, intimate” Mediterranean restaurant and adjoining café – and “what a pleasure to find a good seafood restaurant not at the seaside!”
Adam Fellows’s compact restaurant (with neighbouring café) is tipped as a “real gem”, and hailed in particular for its “French/Mediterranean-inspired fish dishes”.
