Matt Gillan, who made his name at The Pass nearby, opened this first solo venture in September 2019 – a crowdfunded pub with rooms in rural Sussex (not far from South Lodge, where he first hit big) with bar and garden. Menus in the restaurant include an à la carte, and a seven-course tasting option.
