Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
The location strikes some as “strange” – “near a canal in a small unassuming town between Nottingham and Derby” – but this “first-class” venture pleases (nearly) all reviewers with its “imaginative, tasty British cooking” and “excellent service”: “expensive but good value for money”.
A “small, stylish restaurant” tucked away on a side street, whose notably “adventurous menu” and “professional feel” make a big impression on many local reporters, who say that “prices are high, but worth it!”
“The best in the Nottingham area after Sat Bains” – a “small restaurant tucked away in a side street” where the food is “cooked creatively with a deal of originality” and staff are “friendly and knowledgeable”. Even sceptics are impressed – “they are trying to provide a really top class dining experience and nearly pull it off – high prices, but a brave attempt”.
