Harden's survey result
Halfway between Salisbury station and the Marketplace, this local favourite skips the usual Indian fare for adventurous, beautifully presented fusion dishes; the buffet lunch is particularly good value.
“Stylish fusion dishes” – “light, tempting, full of vegetables and a long way ahead of the usual birianis and tikkas” – helps this smart, contemporary spot “take Indian food to new heights” and presentation is “so imaginative” too.
“Salisbury’s top spot, and constantly packed” – “an Indian that tries (and succeeds) with contemporary cuisine”, consistently producing food that’s “high quality and completely different from the norm”.
With its “tasty, delicately flavoured” food, this “interesting” nouvelle Indian is, for fans, “probably still Salisbury’s best restaurant”; there’s a slight sense that it “has got expensive” of late, however, and service can range from “inattentive” to “pushy” at times.
