“An excellent local Italian with gracious service” that’s “very convenient to the Orange Tree and Richmond Theatres” – that’s how fans think of this “comfortable” and well-established Richmond mainstay. Even they, however, admit “there aren’t many good places in the vicinity”, and sceptics say it’s “OK but nothing special, with food that’s presentable but expensive for what it is”.
A “classic Italian menu” consistently well realised (“when it’s good it’s very good”) help make this “an excellent local”, and it’s particularly “convenient for Richmond theatre-goers”.
This “unpretentious” Italian local is “convenient for both the Orange Tree and Richmond theatres” – as well as being close to the station. “Unfortunately, it’s not always consistent”, but “homemade pasta is a strong suit”, and “when on form it’s fabulous”.
“So much better than the chains!” – this “lovely, easy-going Italian”, with its “thoughtful” staff, is well-located opposite Richmond station (and “very handy for either the Orange Tree or Richmond Theatres”); menu-wise “the fresh pasta’s always a good choice”.
