For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Sam's on the Beach Restaurant Diner Reviews

"Situated in an old lifeboat station with amazing views. The Seafood Platter for two is wonderful - prawns (2 ways), squid, mussels, sardines & a (well dressed - rarer than you'd think). The smoked mackerel pate is also amazing. Scallops with black pudding were also a hit. Puddings are perfectly fine but not worth skipping the starter for."
