"Good, simple food. Great value set weekday lunch although drinks on the pricey side e.g. local fizz £17.50 a glass! Overall, a nice experience with homely surroundings, cosy log fires in winter and a nice buzz to this shabby chic 18thC country house. Service very friendly and efficient."
