“A true island favourite” from Robert Thompson – perhaps its most renowned chef: this “romantic” four-year-old occupies a “quirky” listed building, where “tables opposite the open kitchen are in high demand, while upstairs is more intimate”. It wins raves for “outstanding” food “inventively using the best local/seasonal ingredients” and “there is every chance that one or more of the courses during your meal will be served by a chef”. “The personal cutlery drawers are an interesting touch” allowing your own choice of the best utensils at any juncture!
