Harden's says

From the owners of Angela's in Margate, a sibling restaurant that's not a carbon copy, but instead a place that's "casual and informal, no reservations, counter-stool seating and open all day"; sustainable fish and seafood will feature highly.

The “little sister to Angela’s”, a seafood restaurant-with-rooms round the corner, “never fails to satisfy” with its menu of “creative, unique fishy small plates” that are raw, pickled, cured or smoked. The owners run a co-op producing their own fruit and veg, and this site also has a wine shop stocking bottles from England and beyond.

An “exceptional range of creative small-plate, tapas-style fish dishes” – many of them raw, cured or smoked – win acclaim for this walk-ins-only seafood bar (little sister to Angela’s around the corner): an “informal” set-up with “friendly and helpful staff”, providing “excellent value for money”, plus “views of the sea… and the main road”.

No reservations and counter-stool seating keep things informal at this new spin-off from Angela’s: an all-day seafood bar. Too few reports for a rating as yet, but such feedback as we have is very upbeat.

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
