"Delicious al fresco lunch on their terrace overlooking the Sands. Interesting menu, majoring on seafood, and some good Kent wines. I particularly enjoyed their Margate Mess dessert, an imaginative version of Eton mess but including candy floss and Margate rock! You can't book tables on the terrace, but they serve food there Monday to Thursday if the weather allows. Well worth getting there early in order to get a table on the terrace and enjoy the views over the beach. Service was outstanding - both friendly and efficient but not intrusive."
