The room formerly known as The Met Bar re-opened with a bang at the end of October 2018; a 'live fire' venue with an impressive team at the wheel - food from Richard H Turner (Hawksmoor) and Colin McSherry (Nuala, Clove Club), cocktails from brothers Max and Noel Venning (Three Sheets) and wine choices by Guardian wine writer Fiona Beckett.

Little survey feedback as yet on this late-autumn 2018 opening right on Park Lane – a contemporary ‘live fire’ steakhouse occupying the space which older hipsters may recall as the Met Bar. The Observer’s Jay Rayner felt it was a ‘so-nearly-but-not quite’ experience, but the team behind it is impressive with Richard H Turner (ex-Hawksmoor) and Colin McSherry (Nuala, Clove Club).
