Harden's survey result
Summary
This late 2019 newcomer was the first opening in the glossy-looking row of redeveloped railway arches by Wood Lane tube (near the Westfield John Lewis). It is the first permanent site for Kansas-born chef and pitmaster Michael Gratz, who – since 2013 – has been earning street-food cred for his proper Kansas smoked brisket (lots of sauce) plus other US-style meaty treats (dogs, pulled pork...). Limited survey feedback as yet, but all of it very enthusiastic and we’ve had good vibes from everything we’ve heard of the place.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
