Judging by reports, his Soho and Notting Hill operations fulfill the mission, but you don’t have to have your flatbread stuffed with native fish ’n’ chips (although you can) – maybe minute steak with tahini and tomato salsa?

Flatbreads filled with falafel, burgers, English breakfast – you name it – exemplify the “playful” Middle Eastern menu, which everyone agrees is a “great concept” (“different and certainly worth experiencing for its unique take on pitta fillings”). But dishes that are “well-priced, fresh and tasty” in most accounts can – to a few critics – seem “bland and sloppily served”. Top Menu Tip – “outstanding roasted cauliflower”.
