Limited but good all-round feedback on this smart neighbourhood Italian in Holland Park, whose menu features some interesting Sardinian dishes. ‘Temporarily closed’ as we go to press, we have rated it on its historical performance and hope of a reopening some time soon.

“Lovely… if a little pricey” – this “smart casual” (and business-friendly) Holland Park Italian has survived over a good number of years thanks to its “interesting” Sardinian dishes and an overall feeling of quality: “it doesn’t outscore others on specifics, but the whole package works well – professional but not sleek, good but not gastronomic – a favourite”. Since the pandemic struck in early 2020 it has been closed, hopefully to emerge once more favourable times return.

This unusually professional neighbourhood Italian in Holland Park, boasting “attentive service and well-spaced tables”, specialises in Sardinian cuisine. “Expensive for a local”, it is “perfect for a business lunch or dinner” – and they know how to look after loyal regulars: “we go about 50 times a year and they treat us as family – if there’s a hiccup, they’re good at putting it right”.

For 31 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
