“Awesome, thin and crispy pizza” has built quite a following for this “fast, simple, really cheap and really cheerful” Goodge Street spot – where, “unless strip lighting, functional metal tables and chairs are your thing, the ambience is forgettable”. Celebrating its quarter-centenary this year as ‘The People’s Pizzeria’, it now has a branch in Camden and ‘click & collect’ kitchens in Wood Green, Colindale and Croydon.

“It’s cheap ’n’ very cheerful, but with great-quality authentic pizzas” at this basic Goodge Street spot (“worth foregoing a fancier meal for, as its thin-crust pizzas are so good!”). You’ll find “very fast and friendly service”, and that’s it: “this place is all about the pizza and nothing else (unless you love Snapple drinks)”. Opened in 1999, it now has a branch in Camden and delivery outlets in Wood Green, Colindale and Croydon.

“Not just cheap and cheerful but good, cheap and cheerful”“you can’t fault the pizza, thin-crust, well made to order, and tasty” at this veteran Goodge Street pizzeria, est. 1999, where a basic marinara costs just £3.95. There’s now a branch in Camden, as well as delivery-only outlets in Wood Green, Wandsworth and Croydon.

There are “no frills at all” at this 21-year veteran pizza-joint in Goodge Street (founded in 1991), with a branch in Camden Town – “but the fact that you can sit down with a tasty thin-crust pizza in central London for these prices (£3.95 for a Marinara) is well worth the lack of ambience”.

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
