“A real mixed bag” – Theo Randall goes casual at his branded spin-off in a low-profile Earl’s Court hotel. Reports generally are positive, regarding the pizza and “top pasta”, but more complex dishes can be “marred by some heavy-handed treatment” and – while “staff are friendly” – “the decor is incongruous and the space feels very like the hotel restaurant that it is”.
The harshest critic of acclaimed chef Theo Randall’s casual snacks-and-dining sideline, in a fairly anodyne Earl’s Court hotel, says “the food’s pretty good”, but thinks the overall venture “feels like an afterthought rather than anyone’s focus”. Other reports though are more upbeat.
