Near the Royal Albert Hall and needing a “reasonably priced” bite? This fun Italian is surprisingly smart given its affordable prices, and its food – majoring in pizza – is consistently well rated. It claims to have been ‘Princess Diana’s local pizzeria’ (and is not shy about promoting the connection via pics on the walls). Top Tip – budget party cave in the cellar.

For “an efficient and cheerful meal, especially before a visit to the Royal Albert Hall” this “buzzing Italian pizza-fest” (“there’s a wide selection including vegetarian, gluten-free, halal and per bambini”) is “so good, you can forgive them their kitsch, Princess Di-themed decor!” “It’s not overpriced for the location and always entertaining”.

“Deservedly popular”, this Italian stalwart near the Royal Albert Hall “may be cheesy, with its Princess Di connections”, but “it’s so nice to get away from chains”: “they do make a really good pizza”, the “pasta dishes are consistently good”, and the “wine prices are sensible”.
