Summary
On the backstreet Chelsea site that was Tom’s Kitchen (RIP) – this import from Monte Carlo via Dubai and Méribel (which may sum-up its patrons too) opened in late 2021. For a second year, its meaty offering still hasn’t generated a huge volume of feedback in our annual diners’ poll, even if such as we have is all positive. But they must be doing something right, as a spin-off sprang up in Edinburgh too in mid 2023.
Summary
Riccardo Giraudi’s Chelsea newcomer is the first UK offshoot in a collection including branches in Mykonos, Dubai, Meribel, and Monaco (the original). Giraudi describes the concept as a ‘temple of beef’ with meat sourced globally. Too limited feedback for a review, but one seasoned reporter who lives locally notes: “There’s no doubt you get a great steak here. Just expect to pay top dollar for it. The Monaco/Dubai connection drives the clientele, which is more Knightsbridge than Chelsea”.
