“An upscale addition to Putney’s diverse Indian dining scene, Kashmir is the restaurant we locals didn’t know we needed!”“a distinct cut above a typical local cuzza”, with “genuinely delightful” service and regional Kashmiri dishes (as well as more usual options) that are “sensitively-spiced and freshly-cooked, with good depth of flavour”.

“On the site of longstanding Samratt” (RIP), on a side street off Putney High Street, this “extremely hospitable” yearling “has raised the bar for Indian cuisine in SW15”. “A short but interesting and carefully prepared menu, and a calm atmosphere makes for a good combination, albeit at the pricier end of the range”.

For 30 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
