In Clapham’s busy ‘Nappy Valley’, this “great local Indian” earns consistent ratings for its “well-cooked food” with subtle spicing. Its modern dining room is far from spacious and can descend into “bedlam in the evenings, when it’s full of screamers… not all of them young!”.
This local-favourite curry house near Clapham Junction is a “good and accessible option for all palates” – even if it “tries too hard not to be of the after-pub variety”. “The move around the corner from Northcote Road to Battersea Rise hasn’t reduced its popularity, but the new dining room can get cramped and extremely noisy”.
The “delicious and varied menu” at this “friendly” Indian, on the ’Nappy Valley’ main drag near Clapham Junction station, means “you can always find something you want, whatever your mood” (and it’s “not designed to blow your head off” either).
“Very civilised” Battersea Indian where the curries are “not designed to blow your head off” and there’s “never a bad note”. “Thalis are a great addition to a menu that is by Indian standards low fat”.
