“This hidden French gem”“on Battersea Bridge Road of all places”“doesn’t look like much from outside, but the food is marvellous”. Patron Franck Raymond “exceeds expectations” with cuisine from his hometown of Evian in the French Alps, served in a “modest” but “calm and civilised” setting.

“Just the job for a simple, casual supper” – this bistro in an “unlikely spot” just south of Battersea Bridge is inspired by the cuisine of Evian in the French Alps, hometown of patron Franck Raymond, who is “completely invested in making sure you have a great experience”.

“Weekday set lunch is incredibly good value” and justifies the hop over to Franck Raymond’s bistro, just south of Battersea Bridge, where the “excellent” Gallic food is inspired by the Alpine cuisine of his childhood, near Evian on Lake Geneva.

This “lovely French neighbourhood bistro” just south of Battersea Bridge is very much a labour of love for chef-patron Franck Raymond – he named it after his grandmother, and the “excellent” cuisine is inspired by his boyhood home at Evian on Lake Geneva. Reporters are agreed that it’s “very good value and enjoyable”.

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
