Harden's says
From a roving VW camper to street food markets to this permanent site at London bridge, the team behind Bedales of Borough have created a legend with their lobster-based fare: mac 'n' cheese, tacos and shrimp cocktail will never be the same again. As you'd expect, the wines are pretty good, too.
Harden's survey result
Summary
“For that lobster craving when in London… which surprisingly does not need a bank robbery” – head to this railway arch near London Bridge station (or seek out the “glimmering and rather plush-looking food truck/van” on the corner of Bedale Street and Borough High Street). It’s “a really fun and tasty meal”: the “crab stack and lobster rolls are delicious” and “you don’t feel as though you are eating from a mobile food operation – the brioche is warm and buttery, the sauce moreish and the lobster is good quality”.
Summary
“Very fresh lobster, oysters, crab, etc, plus a good choice of wines by the glass” (as you’d expect from the team behind Bedales of Borough) win praise from a small fanclub for this railway arch below London Bridge station – the permanent site for a pop-up whose hallmark is a roving fleet of VW camper vans.

For 31 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

BOB's Lobster Restaurant Diner Reviews

"Pre theatre we arrived at 6.30 for a 7.30 show downstairs. It took 35 minutes from ordering for the food to come so we had to rush. The young waiter was delightful but obviously the kitchen cannot cope. When it came the tuna tacos were good but the crab was ordinary, feeble flavour diluted with mayo, and the whole meal was quite expensive for the amount of food. "

"The food is tasty. The staff are friendly. The place is drafty. The bill is toppy. "
