“A perfect favourite for brunch” – this “welcoming” café, “quite idyllically located” on Primrose Hill’s cute main drag, is not a foodie destination, but a popular all-day hub for breakfast, a bite, or a bun with a brew. “The line outside was a hint that it would deliver… and so it did!”

Limited but positive feedback this year on this cute all-day café on Primrose Hill’s atmospheric main drag – a top local haunt, ideal for lazy breakfasts, light lunches or coffee and a bun any time of day.

“Good daily specials and a reasonable, weekday prix fixe menu” along with “popular breakfasts and weekend brunch” help keep things busy at this all-day Primrose Hill local (“always crowded with babies and dog-owners”). It’s “not entirely cheap, but there’s an excellent price/quality ratio”, and it’s “run very graciously and effectively”.

For 30 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
