Harden's says

It's not often we get to report on a pub re-opening; the classic public house premises that briefly housed Beef & Brew have been rescued and turned back into a pub; there will still be some food - pizza and pasta, and Sunday roasts.

After a spell as Beef & Brew (RIP), this corner pub in Haggerston complete with outside terrace re-launched in winter 2019 in a more pub-like format, with a menu that headlines pizza (with miscellaneous small plates providing backing tracks). The decor sympathetically updates the traditional boozer format, with its tiled floors, bare brick walls and foliage.

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
