Harden's survey result
Summary
In the big site opposite Shoreditch station that was formerly Beach Blanket Babylon (RIP), this mid-lockdowns, autumn 2020 newcomer retains a large central bar but the emphasis is now much more on dining than during its BBB days. Greek chef Niko Kontogiannatos was previously former head chef at Caravan Fitzrovia and the menu here is also an eclectic mashup mixing Med-inspired creations (pizzettas, braised octopus, burrata) with some international fave-raves ( tandoori chicken thighs… burger… cheesecake).
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
