Harden's says
Ara Restaurant, from Turkish-born chef-patron Murat Kilic (who also owners Amber and Route), is a May 2025 newcomer near Shoreditch in the Aldgate East area. The 76 indoor-cover restaurant (with 20 outdoors) aims to offer a fusion of global flavors inspired by Murat's travels, with a menu showcasing eclectic dishes and a focus on environmentally conscious practice. Sample dishes include: Grilled potato flatbread with homemade cultured butter, Mussels skewers with roasted chicken wings in butter sauce, Blackened leeks with muhammara and XO sauce, and Slow-cooked short rib with date demi-glaze.
