“A craft beer pub with fabulous Indian vegetarian street food. What’s not to like?” agree fans of the Manchester-based operation whose formula is equally popular in Leeds. It’s “great to be able to take meat-lovers to a veggie restaurant and know they’ll enjoy it!”.

“Very tasty authentic Indian vegan and vegetarian street food” is paired with a “great beer selection” at the Leeds branch of the Manchester-based winner. “Could just as easily be in the ‘best Indian’ or ‘best cheap eats’ category”. Top Tip – “you have to try the okra fries!”.

“The best veggie Indian in Leeds by some margin – and that’s up against some stiff competition”, say fans of this Yorkshire branch of the Manchester-based street food and craft beer combo. It’s “fab – low key, with a range of specials, beer collaborations and tasty snacks, too”. Nor will it break the bank.

“Flavours galore and a regularly changing menu means you can fill up on Indian street food without breaking the bank and wash it down with a great range of beers” at this six-year-old haunt, where service uses “environmentally friendly compostable plates and cutlery” on shared benches at communal tables: “cheap, fast and fun”“just a great place”.

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"What a delight. We were well above the average age but thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff helped us through the street food menu. Every dish was good, tasty and tremendous even for meat eaters with an open mind!"
