Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
Dawn & Piero Di Bella’s “intimate” (though slightly extended these days) venture has built up quite a name on the Wirral. One or two reporters feel it’s a little “overrated” but mostly there’s praise for its “authentic” and “interesting” Italian/Sicilian food.
“Every dish is a winner” at this “out-of-the-way” Sicilian; on the downside, “ambience can be lacking”, but it’s partly compensated for by the “welcoming and friendly” staff.
“Getting to be one of our favourites”; despite its “unfortunate (rather anonymous) location”, this “small, friendly” Italian serves some “VERY flavoursome” Sicilian food.
Look beyond its “anonymous exterior” and “rather sparse decor” (even “the menu descriptions are understated”) and there’s some “delicious Sicilian food” on offer at this “friendly” family-run venture; “if this place was in London it would be impossible to get in!”
