Summary

A “great interior” adds charm to this popular pub-restaurant, in a classic English village near the Great River Ouse. Reports on the food were a little mixed though this year: to fans “top notch”, but to critics “a little disappointing”.

Reviewed 4 months,

"A difficult drive from Cambridge at the present time but worth it. The Sea Bream with interesting accompaniments and Rosemary Potatoes as a side was very good as was the value for money set meal of Cauliflower and Turmeric Soup with a Mackerel plus main. Interior comfortable and the garden was ideal for a sunny day. With one. hopefully temporary, exception the Cambridge Cuisine mini group consists of some of the best eateries in the Cambridge area."
