Ten years after opening their North Queensferry restaurant of the same name, Craig and Vikki Wood announce a second outpost, this time in Edinburgh's New Town. The venture, which takes over the site of Fleur de Sel, will be helmed by chef Michael Innes (formerly of northern Spain's much-lauded El Cellar de Can Roca in Girona).

Craig & Vikki Wood’s yearling (a follow-up to the decade-old original of the same name), is “a real gem of an addition to the New Town” (and “saves a trip across the Forth to North Queensferry” to their other gaff). Between the “first-class food and service” (the former from ex-El Celler de Can Roca chef Michael Innes) it’s “difficult to fault”.
