Harden's says

Named for Sir Edwin Cooper, the architect behind the monumental former Port of London Authority building, now an outpost of the luxurious international hotel chain. It seems likely this will occupy the space vacated by the excellent but somehow always quite obscure Dame de Pic – it’s a big change of gear though from haute cuisine to luxurious steakhouse.

For 35 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

The service was seamless but light hearted ...

"The service was seamless but light hearted making every interaction feel special and fun! The breads we were served was warm which is just the best and the cultured butter, radishes and peppery source cream dip was a delightful kick off to a delightful meal. The starters were works of art - elevating familiar flavours with unexpected twists and super levels of refinement (but we’re not allowed to say fine dining as this is first and foremost a steakhouse ???? ). That citrus beurre blanc will stay with me for a very long time… Tableside serving elements of the main and dessert again really elevated the experience and everything was super lux (caviar on 3/5 dishes)."
