Harden's says
Vegan restaurant Stem & Glory (which nowadays also has a London offshoot) is moving from the city-centre to a swish new home in the burgeoning new developments, just seconds from the train station. It’s a swish new unit at the bottom of a large office building, incorporating a WeWork.
Harden's survey result
Summary
Limited but positive feedback on this successful vegan, which shifted to this new location in a new development near the station in 2021. Worth remembering if you are catching a train and a place of pilgrimage for those who eat meat-free. It’s a rare Cambridge eatery that has spawned openings in the capital (see also).
Summary
“New premises, same glorious vegan food... ” – this well-regarded venture (which nowadays also has a London offshoot) moved from the city-centre in 2021 to a swish new home in the burgeoning new developments just seconds from the train station. At the bottom of a large office building, it’s arguably a step up from their old quarters, but one or two long-term fans feel the “new place lacks ambience”.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
