Harden's survey result
“Ask for a window table overlooking the harbour, but wherever you sit, you’ll not be disappointed”, say fans of this tastefully decorated and “lively” bar/restaurant. Its ratings are constrained by a couple of reporters who found it pricey or disappointing, but most feedback relates of “careful cooking”, with fish dishes particularly recommended. Top Tip – “a quality breakfast near the sea”.
An “excellent” Farrow & Ball-chic indie combining superior local/seasonal dishes, “good cocktails and gin” and “superb service” (backdropped by a “lovely sunset view”); it’s “a treat to go here after a day on the beach,” which is just a few yards away.
“Picturesque” and “stylish” harbourside restaurant with “great views”, by Broadstairs beach – a “great place to savour fish”, but there’s “plenty more on the inventive menu”.
An “excellent, quirky restaurant by the harbour” and “looking out over Broadstairs beach”; it’s a “large, airy” sort of space, and, while “not faultless”, the food manages to be both “family-friendly” and “grown-up”, with a “good local beer list” to wash it down.
