“Definitely a go-to restaurant in this neck of the woods” – this “lovely” fish spot is “a small, cosy” room in the converted stable block of a coaching inn on the village green. Prices are reasonable, and the fish and seafood are “very good quality”.

It offers an “exciting menu of delicious dishes prepared with a combination of modern flair and traditional technique”. Top Tip: “fairly priced set lunch”.
“It is always a pleasure to enjoy a beautifully prepared meal” at this “consistent” restaurant and bar, occupying a converted stable on the village green; the main event – fish – is particularly “excellent”.
It’s “a real delight to find a good restaurant in the Maidstone area” – this one specialising in “delicious”, “very good value fish”. Okay, the “shed-like” premises are “cramped”, and it’s a “shame about the acoustics”, but “the food makes the visit very worthwhile”.
