Don’t expect a menu (“the chef decides what to cook when he sees what his suppliers deliver in the morning”) but do expect a “great experience” at this small and unusual spot with an open kitchen, on the outskirts of town, benefitting from “lots of natural light”, and notably creative multi-course tasting menus.

Some feel that “the decor is a bit strange” (“basic and small”), but “you go for the fantastic creations of the clever Gordon Jones, who’s always there, beavering away in the open kitchen”.
“Off-beat, irreverent, and exciting!” – the “experimental” cuisine is “really surprising” at this “progressive” but “no-frills” and “cramped” gourmet experience to the south of the city centre. When it comes to the tasting menu, “it’s so much fun, as you don’t know what you’re going to get”, but “the flavours are always firing on all cylinders”, and there’s “a very original wine flight accompaniment”.
